I've been getting in to makeup more and more as the year progresses and i'm starting to learn about how I should be doing proper hauls and reviews. These are not sponsored in anyway what so ever, I just like sharing my finds
For someone who has slowly been getting into makeup, I was in desperate need for some makeup wipes. During my trip to Daiso, I came across these in their makeup isle and was told that they were in popular demand. They come in a small plastic container and has about 35 sheets. Plus they're infused with lemon which is useful for whitening the skin.
(Here's what the sheets and container looks like)
But don't let the cute packaging fool you because these wipes aren't that big of a deal. In fact they barely remove makeup and dry up pretty quickly; before you can clean your entire face. I wouldn't recommend these at all as makeup wipes.
Where I bought them: Daiso
Price: $2.00-$4.00
Pros: Cute packaging and fairly cheap
Cons: Hardly cleans anything
(Top to bottom: Blending brush, eye shadow brush, angled brush)
Since i'm slowly getting into makeup, I figured I could buy some brushes. I mean c'mon, you need brushes for practically everything! A quick trip to Target and I came across E.L.F. brand makeup brushes. I don't have anything to compare them to except paintbrushes and cheap disposable brushes.
Where I bought them: Target
Price: $1.00 (Each)
Pros: Cheap and does it's job perfectly
Cons: The white ones can fall apart if used to roughly
First time using Tinted Moisturizer since I usually use BB cream (is there a difference?) and I love wearing this when I usually am having a lazy day and just want to even out my skin tone.
Where I bought them: Target
Price: $2.00-$3.00
Pros: Very light and portable
Cons: It smells weird? (Again no prior knowledge so I have nothing to compare to), no major coverage
First time using concealer that isn't from samples. It has a sweet smell that most people find to much (based on my research) but I loved it. I just wish it covered more since I have bad acne scars aha.
Where I bought them: Target
Price: $1.00-$2.00
Pros: It smells really nice and can cover minor blemishes
Cons: Doesn't work all that great at covering acne scars and other bad blemishes
I am not a fan of liquid eyeliner (I think it looks bad on me) but this one was too cute to resist so I thought i'd check it out. Turns out it was a double eyeliner. I was scared to try it at first since it came from Daiso and it was cheap (Iunno, cheap prices sound scary to me) but again, couldn't resist the design.
Where I bought them: Daiso
Price: $1.50-$2.00
Pros: It has two uses (pencil and liquid), peels of easily with makeup remover
Cons: Have yet to test how long it lasts but so far I know it's not waterproof
Thanks for reading and I hope to bring more reviews to this blog !
